Our Practice
Since 1986, IC Optics has been providing customized eyewear to our patients. Kim Neely, owner and one of the Licensed Opticians on staff, has been practicing in Putnam since 1981 and has built his business around researching optical products to meet the visual demands of our patients. Our goal is to help our patients with the best fitting eyewear designed to meet their optical and lifestyle needs.

Tricia Turbert
Licensed Optician
As a Licensed Optician, Tricia specializes in providing a customized, personal eyewear experience. She takes the time to get to know her clients, and discusses each client's individual lifestyle and preferences, and then recommends frames and lenses. Tricia works with clients through the process of proper frame fitting and adjustments to ensure the most comfortable pair of glasses for her clients. Clients can see their eye doctor of choice and then visit Tricia to select lenses and frames.​
She began her career as an optical apprentice in 2013 while she studied opticianry at Middlesex Community College. While in school she received her ABO and NCLE certification in 2014 – becoming a Licensed Optician in 2015. Tricia relocated IC Optics to its current location in 2025. Tricia lives in Thompson, CT with her family. Most of her time now is spent with her two young daughters, Adelynn and Brielle.
